Scholastic Reveals 3rd Hunger Games Cover & Title

I got a little lucky browsing Google Reader this morning!

Thanks to BookPage for their quick article. :)

I like this cover. It follows the progression of the mockingjay symbol from a pin (idea), then a costume as the idea rose in popularity and became something tangible, to now the fully realized bird in full flight against the sky (complete with solar flare, a bright sunny day contrasting against the black cover of the first book).

You know, I couldn't imagine how they'd complete such a beautiful series, but this is perfect. I love how they follow the Mockingjay from symbol to reality. And blue! :3
